Platform Support Lead

**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Platform Support Lead to manage and lead our platform support, responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our digital platform. The Platform Support Lead will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality service delivery, coordinating support activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a deep technical understanding and a commitment to operational excellence.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Platform Support**
- Oversee the daily operational support of our digital platform, including monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain support documentation and procedures.
**Service Improvement**
- Identify areas for service improvement and optimisation and work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
- Continuously evaluate platform performance, reliability, and scalability to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents and implement preventative measures.
**Vendor and Stakeholder Management**
- Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing updates on service support activities and performance.
**Risk Management**
- Identify and assess risks to platform reliability and service delivery.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure mínimal disruption to operations.
**KEY ATTRIBUTES**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, IT) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in platform support or a related technical support role.
- Strong technical knowledge of digital platforms, systems, and infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- ITIL certifications are an advantage.
