Working directly with the HR/People Manager, as our HR Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the recruitment process runs smoothly. The HR function is going through a particularly busy period so you will need to have solid administration experiencewithin HR and Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process
- Create advertisements from roles based on job descriptions created by hiring managers, avoid bias in wording and characteristics must be clear and demonstrable
- Negotiate T2P and Permanent hire terms and conditions within set parameters
- Research and source specialist recruitment agencies for specialist roles
- Oversee the Indeed Recruiting platform and the LinkedIn Recruiting platform
- Monitor the jobs mailbox
- Perform initial interviews over the phone based on hiring criteria
- Guide hiring managers on compnay's interview process
- Liaise with department heads for start dates and run the induction days for new starters
- Ensure right-to-work checks have been conducted prior to start date
- Be innovative with routes for attracting the right applicants
- Monitor the Employee Referral Scheme, keeping up to date with payments
- Facilitate process of internal recruitment for developing career progression and support succession planning
- Be the first point of contact for HR phone queries
- Assist the HR Generalist in administration duties and adhoc projects
- Keep the HR records in a well-organised system so that it can be easily retrieved and managed
- Follow the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines
- Accurately scan in all people files and label correctly
- Ensure destruction of people files are done securely and effectively (shredding)
- Accurately log termination dates of Employees so that the data is not kept any longer than is necessary (6 years)
- Understand the Data Protection Act (DPA)
- Respond to reference requests
- Produce contracts of employment
- Create documentation for contractual changes
- Complete administration for joiners
- Maintain spreadsheets
- Update the HR database where necessary
- Run relevant reports, including the weekly Chronicle report for Time & Attendance
**HR Administrator**
Person Specification:
- Previous administrative experience working within a HR/Recruiting environment
- Must have a CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Outlook
- Experience with HR Software (preferable not essential)
- Basic knowledge of employment law and statutory rights
- Eligibility to work in the UK
**HR Administrator**
Compensation details:
- Salary £27,000 - £29,000 per year
