Provide Administration support to the Supply Chain Department to ensure procured goods and services meet the required specification, quality level, cost and are delivered in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete goods receipts within the Purchasing Database ensuring goods delivered align with Purchase Order requirements.
- Assist obtaining quotes from qualified suppliers that meet the specification, quality, budgetary and schedule requirements.
- Assist negotiating and placing of Purchase Orders, ensuring schedule reporting and delivery promises are maintained by suppliers with information communicated to the relevant entity/department.
- Assist expediting of orders in accordance with Purchase Order requirements. Work with entities/departments to communicate and improve delivery where-ever possible and update purchasing system accordingly.
- Assist conducting required due diligence on all potential suppliers to identify/mitigate risks before adding to the company Approved Supplier List.
- Assist the Accounts department with invoice enquires requiring clarification/ approval.
- Provide cover for holidays and absences in the Supply Chain Department
- Assist in other purchasing/ departmental duties/ activities as detailed by the Buyer / Supply Chain Manager including ad hoc projects as required.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficient in using excel and database
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Effective communication and negotiation skills

Note: Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
