Communications and Events Officer

I am recruiting for a Comminucations and Events Officer for our Client in Hampshire.
The working conditions for this post will be primarily office-based within the Enterprise M3 LEP offices, with opportunities for remote working when appropriate
6 month contract
Job Purpose:
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain high activity on all EM3's social media platforms
- Monitoring of all social media channels, looking for opportunities to engage in proactive social media conversations.
- Drafting media releases
- Drafting and posting website content
- Monitor and report on paid and organic digital advertising
- Keep track of and help respond to comms support requests from across the Enterprise M3 team.
- Helping to devise and organize business-focussed events, drafting event plans, researching locations, managing bookings, and giving on-the-day organizational support
- Other tasks as required.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and
- Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent)
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 1 year+ experience working in a communications, events or social media team.
- A thorough understanding of social media platforms, trends and etiquette.
- Experience or interest in working in a business to business (B2B) organisation.
