**Events and Campaigns Fundraising Officer**

As Events and Campaigns Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in devising, coordinating, and implementing innovative fundraising campaigns and events to support the vital work of The Brendoncare Foundation.

The day-to-day of this role will include organising high profile events such as our annual Christmas concert, arranging stewardship events for our Major Donors and creating and running fundraising campaigns such as The Big Give and our Lottery to increase one-off and regular donor streams of income.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of older people in our community by raising essential funds to sustain and expand our services.

**What will I be doing?**

**Campaign Planning and Execution**
- Develop and implement fundraising campaigns aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
- Ensure campaigns are effectively communicated and promoted across various channels.

**Event Management**
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events such as galas, charity dinners, sponsored walks, and stewardship events..
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and attendee registration.
- Work closely with volunteers and supporters to enlist their help and support for events.

**Fundraising Campaign Analysis and Reporting**
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns and events.
- Analyse donor data and fundraising trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Update and maintain donor data on our CRM system to ensure accurate and GDPR compliant data collection.

**Relationships**
- Work collaboratively with the fundraising team, Trustees, care homes and community / club services team, staff and the central office team.
- Create and maintain effective relationships with external contacts to include prospective donors, community groups, volunteers and supporters.

**General**
- Maintain high standards of donor care and stewardship.
- Keep abreast of fundraising activity and trends across the charity community, corporate and events sector.

**Corporate Responsibilities**
- Promote Brendoncare’s charitable ethos, act as an ambassador for our services and support fundraising initiatives to maximise voluntary income for our charity.

**What do I need to have to apply?**

Essential requirements
- Demonstrable experience of achieving income targets in an individual giving or events fundraising role.
- Experience of using IT software including Microsoft Office and a fundraising Customer Relationships Management Tool
- Excellent and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to network at all levels.
- Able to use own initiative to work autonomously and also to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Tactful and sensitive approach where appropriate.
- Willingness to work flexibly, to occasionally support out of hours fundraising events

Desirable requirements
- Fundraising or marketing qualification/training.
- Experience of Major Donor Fundraising.
- Knowledge and awareness of issues affecting older people.
- Experience utilising mailing software such as Mailchimp for campaigns.
