In support of the Chief Commercial Officer and as part of the senior leadership team, the Sales Director will manage our team of external account managers and will engage directly with key clients. This is a hybrid role (home and office based) supporting team members based out of our two main office locations of Manchester and Somerset, so regular attendance in each office will be required as well as visits to client sites.

**Role fundamentals - What you’ll do**:

- Ownership of external Accounts Team profit target
- Management of the external account management team through Individual performance management, holding Regular 121s with team members
- Effective account planning and coaching
- Work on commercial aspects of major bids and tenders
- Conduct regular all Team Meetings
- Supporting AMs with Client Meetings and presentations to key clients
- Close alignment with technical solutions and operations team
- Close peer to peer engagement with vendors
- Effectively build professional and trusting relationships with senior staff in client schools and prospects
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
- Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service)

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Education technology managed services sales experience is desired
- Ambassador experience for previous employer in the technology sector
- A high level of computer literacy
- Experience of solving problems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to clients
- Experience in consultative Sales environment
- Effective leadership and coaching skills
- Strong understanding of sales process/planning and execution
- An ability to create, maintain and complete complex pricing models
- Capability of grasping business complexities with a disposition to solve issues and drive optimisation of processes

**Key Information**:
Full time permanent role following probation, hybrid home / office with national travel to client sites

Base salary £50k
- £60k with OTE of £90,000 - £100,000 (uncapped)

Car Allowance £450 per month

Commission earned against both personal sales quota and team performance
