A new opportunity has arisen for an Procurement Coordinatorto join an established Electrical Contractor that provides installation and maintenance solutions across a variety of projects in the Midlands region.

**The successful Procurement Coordinator will**:

- Assigning from stock or procuring in line with our quotation schedules, all necessary materials, plant and subcontracts, commercially aligned and in compliance with our management system procedures, to achieve ‘on time, inbudget’ delivery of our projects.
- Developing supplier relationships, evaluation, monitoring, product sourcing R&D and processing supplier defective goods and returns.
- Supporting the estimating department by providing latest product information, assisting with supplier enquiries,material pricing and maintaining the estimate system product files
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, estimating and contracts departments.
- Good knowledge of the materials used within electrical contracting.
- Computer Literate.
- Knowledge of estimating systems is an advantage.

**Requirements**:

- You will previously have worked in the Construction industry as Procurement coordinator, Office manager, procurement specialist, Buyer
- Able to prioritise workload, working to critical dates / timescales, whilst maintaining commercial contribution to the successful completion of contracts.
- Proactive, methodical working, with good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers / clients and contracts department in a professional manner.
- Have astute awareness of material costing to ensure smooth operation of contract.
