**Working Hours and Arrangements**

The position is a mixture of home and office based work for 17.5 hours per week, the usual days for office attendance being a Monday and Friday. However, some flexibility in order to attend Trustee meetings on other days may be necessary.

**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Head of Department, the principal purpose of the role is to assist in the delivery of high-quality bespoke management and administration services to charities, trusts and foundations. By working collaboratively with the Grants Management & Administration Executive, the Charity Grants Finance Executive, other colleagues within the Church & Charity department and our clients, the post-holder will provide grant making administration service to clients that is of a high standard, ensures the department works effectively and promotes a professional image of the Firm at all times.
- Support the Grants Management & Administration Executive and the Charity Grants Finance Executive with clerical and financial administration.
- Assist with the preparation of documents to comply with statutory regulations and the assembly of papers for trustee meetings.
- Support and attend trustee meetings, including preparatory work and minute taking.
- Support the submission of Charity Commission Annual Returns & Trustee Update Forms.
- Carry out website administration and updates for clients’ and PWW.
- Assist with the filing obligations of charities with the Charity Commission, HMRC and Companies House.
- Provide general administration and support to the Church & Charities department.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested

- **Qualifications**_
- 3 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent at C grade or above
- Business related degree (2:2 or above) desirable
- **Skills**_
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to build good relationships with clients and colleagues
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised and efficient approach to work
- Able to multi-task and respond positively to a large, demanding workload
- Strong prioritisation skills to enable competing deadlines to be met
- Fast, accurate word processing and minute taking ability

- Good computer literacy, including knowledge of case management systems and Microsoft Office

- Experience of working in a client/customer service environment
- Familiar with providing financial, clerical and management support within a busy office setting
