**Job overview**:
Our forward-thinking community mental health teams are seeking a Waiting List Co-ordinator to join their team. The role will be based in our City 3 team.

We are currently improving on how we work, to ensure that our team can provide an excellent service to our local communities; we have recently invested in numerous clinical lead posts to support our current multi-disciplinary teams to ensure we have nurse consultants, clinical nurse specialists, psychologists to name a few.

We are pleased to offer this opportunity to join the City 3 as a waiting list co-ordinator to maintain our managed waiting list. The role of the waiting list co-ordinator is to be a point of contact for service users pending allocation following their assessment.

It is the ideal time to join our collaborative team as we transform and develop the way we work -although this is a full-time role, we can be flexible and can offer some hybrid working and/or flexible working patterns if needed.

**Main duties of the job**:
The role of the co-ordinator is to have routine telephone contact with the service user at set frequencies. The main responsibilities will be to assess if there are any changes within the service users mental state since their assessment and review any changes within the service user’s risks. The co-ordinator will also develop a Recovery plan with the service user and initiate some parts of this agreed treatment plan.

This clinical role requires you to be organised, have great written and verbal communication skills and be a great team player as you are working as part of the large multi-disciplinary team.
