**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Birmingham / Coventry - Flexible | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

**Salary**: £32,900 - £48,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time or Part Time | Flexible First options available

Our Careers Pipelines Co-Ordinator coordinates the people pipeline activity and responsibilities across the Energy Solutions business. This includes leading programs and processes for the graduate, trainee and apprentices employed in the SSE Energy Solutions business, as well as exploring new pipeline pools and managing internal talent pipelines. In this role you will:

- Identify opportunities to improve the current trainee pipeline programs
- Undertake formal and informal trainee progress reviews and provide support and advice to all early years pipeline staff and business mentors
- Coordinate trainee, graduate and apprentice recruitment activity including onboarding and induction programs
- Work with the Operational HR Managers to support internal talent pipeline development including leading on the in-house Extended Leadership Team development programme and ensuring a clear understanding of Energy Solution’s internal talent pipeline
- Engage with Corporate Learning and Talent teams, academic providers and other agencies on a range of pipeline activity
- Support ad hoc HR activity to ensure we have both the recruitment and retention of a strong pipeline of talent in place in a timely manner and to deliver our ambitious business plan and beyond

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- An understanding of Modern Apprentice, Graduate and Trainee frameworks and associated regulatory requirements
- An understanding of the SSE Energy solutions business with experience of talent development schemes and succession planning processes
- The ability to deliver at pace in this fast growing, action orientated business
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication and IT skills
- The ability to interact with all internal and external stakeholders (including those at Director level) in a highly professional manner
