The Best Western Cresta Court Hotel is a 3-star 148-bedroom property situated in the heart of Altrincham, Cheshire.

The position of Maintenance Assistant has become available, 40 hours, 5 days.

We are looking for a strong individual support and perform the maintenance tasks of a technical services and property maintenance function to both the internal and external parts of buildings, amenities, and common areas across the property to assist with the Company’s requirements for building standards, health and safety, statutory compliance and overall asset functionality.

Key Role Responsibilities:

- As a Maintenance Team Member, you will ensure that the hotel is kept in excellent condition. From checking fire alarms to keeping the grounds and minor repairs completed in a quick manner.
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day preventative & reactive maintenance within the hotel.

Emergency repairs around the hotel
- You will need to make sure that the upkeeping of all areas are clean and tidy. All tasks need to be carried out in a high standard whilst adhering to health and safety legislations.
- Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will take responsibility for the management and performance of the department.
- As Maintenance Team Member you will have experience in one or more building trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting/ decorating or general building maintenance.
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Working closely with all hotel departments
- Available to work when the team and customer needs you

General knowledge/understanding of Health and Safety risks including manual handling, worksite safety, chemicals, trip and fall hazards.
