Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physiotherapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current best practice in Physiotherapy, including evidence-based treatments and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant profession, such as Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate experience working in an NHS setting, preferably in a Physiotherapy role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
