HR Assistant/receptionist

**HR ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST**

**THE ROLE**
- Responsible for maintaining HR records and producing reports; including sickness, new recruits and amendments to contracts
- Dealing with all aspects of recruitment including arranging interviews, updating all databases, inductions and liaising with HR Controller, Line Managers and agencies
- Support and develop well being initiatives across site
- Dealing with performance management
- Deliver and evaluate effective training solutions to meet needs of the business
- Succession planning for key roles within the organisation, identifying and developing talent within the company to enable continuity of operations
- Assisting with maintaining policies and ensuring procedures are in place
- Creating and maintaining KPI’s and company newsletters
- Dealing with incoming post and outgoing post, including courier deliveries and collections
- Managing the car hire, travel, and buffet processes
- Purchasing consumables/services and maintain stock levels
- Dealing with visitors and regular contractors eg cleaners
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
- Excellent communication skills
- A HR background would be preferred but training can be given (CIPD study to be provided)
- A good level of IT literacy to include Microsoft Excel and to assist with presentations, analysis, reports and graphs
- Understanding of GDPR
