We are recruiting for a superb client for a Financial Services Administrator and once your training is complete this can be a hybrid role working in the office 2 days in Lincoln and then three from home, my client can offer flexible hours to allow for awork life balance, you will be working 37.5 hours per week around 8.30am - 5pm although as mentioned there is some flexibility on those hours

As the Financial Services Administrator you would be responsible for the following

Comply at all times with the firm's compliance, complaints and data security policies and procedures

To ensure that the firm's clients are treated fairly at all times

Maintain positive working relationship with others, both internally and externally

Ability to develop a work schedule and make clear and timely decisions

To anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of the Financial Planner and the clients, and to meet or exceed their expectations

Follow direction well, work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals and resolve problems

High level of confidentiality and discretion at all times

Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Additional responsibility as the Financial Services Administrator include the following

Handling incoming post, filing to our electronic system and also organising and sending outgoing post

Create, maintain and update client information and records on our database system (IRESS)

Use of the database to record work in progress at all times and good use of notetaking to update tracking activities

Managing the Financial Planner's diary by scheduling client appointments and internal meetings

Assisting the Financial Planner with the servicing demands of each client

Liaising with the Paraplanner to ensure the servicing demands of the client are met in a timely manner

Preparation of new business submission

Liaising with product providers and investment companies

Ensuring periodic client reviews are carried out in a timely manner

To act as a point of contact for clients and other offices

Keeping the clients informed of progress to manage client expectations

Ensuring outstanding fees and invoices are chased in a timely and organised fashion

Learning the financial services sector and products such as pensions, bonds, ISAs and protection

All routine administration, including scanning, filing, and telephone calls

To be successful as the Financial Services Administrator we are looking for the following

Excellent organisational skills

Professional telephone manner

Provide a professional, prompt and courteous service to clients

Able to use own initiative

Ability to prioritise tasks independently by assessing situations to determine urgency

Excellent listening skills and able to provide clear verbal and written communication

Computer literate and good typing skills

Previous knowledge or use of Microsoft Office products

Essential time management skills and attention to detail

Some knowledge of the FCA and record keeping requirements would be preferable

Basic knowledge of the financial services sector

Willingness to undertake qualifications if requested
