**Main Purpose**

To assist the Engineering Supervisors by providing administration support to the Engineering Departments of Go East Anglia and provide support for effective fleet administration.

**Main Areas of Responsibility**
- Ensure weekly clock cards are received and wage reports for each depot’s engineering function are compiled forwarding to Payroll Assistant in a timely manner.
- Manage holiday and absence records for Engineering staff of Go East Anglia.
- Monitor the fuel system on a daily basis, making sure deliveries are recorded and monitored.
- Compile period end fuel reports.
- Maintain a spreadsheet database of vehicles at Go East Anglia, ensure their whereabouts is known, including road tax and MOT expiry dates, and significant information.
- Maintain V5 registration documents and MOT documents for all vehicles.
- Manage the road tax procedure, ensuring that all road tax is renewed in a timely manner when due.
- File all Vehicle Maintenance documents, to ensure records may be traced as required.
- Provide an administration service to the Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager and Engineering Supervisors, regarding typing reports and letters, general filing, answering the telephone, etc.

**Health & Safety**
- To be aware of your own responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- To report all injuries, collisions, near misses and dangerous occurrences to your Engineering Supervisor and assist with the investigations where required.
- To ensure that where personal protective equipment such as high visibility clothing, eye protection and head protection is provided it is used in the appropriate manner.
- To comply with the law and all company policies always. The use of mobile phones is prohibited whilst driving as is smoking in a company vehicle.

**Environmental Management**
- To ensure compliance with environmental management.
- To report incidents and complaints to the Engineering Supervisor.
- To report immediately, to the Engineering Supervisor / Manager, any leak, unauthorised or accidental discharge or any other hazards to the environment.
- To ensure protective clothing and equipment is always used.

**Technical Knowledge and Training**
- To undergo formal development, assessment and appraisals as required.
- To attend relevant training courses (which may involve an overnight stay).
- Must be in the possession of a full driving licence.

**Communication and Teamwork**
- To participate in any training and development programmes actively and willingly.
- To keep up to date with all information that affects your job.
- To ask for feedback in a positive and constructive manner.

**Company Duties**
- To be sufficiently flexible in respect to working hours and job roles to ensure that commitments are fulfilled.
- To work at any other location within the company as required.
- To establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues.
- To represent the Company in a professional manner always.

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
