**About us**

OSB Group focuses its specialist lending activities on selected sub-sectors of the lending market in which it has an established presence and expertise. These include private rented sector buy to let, commercial and semi-commercial mortgages, residential development finance, bespoke and specialist residential lending, secured funding lines and asset finance.

Predominantly funded by retail savings originated through online and direct channels, The Group originates almost all of its organic lending through specialist intermediaries. It’s differentiated through its use of highly skilled, bespoke underwriting and efficient operating model.

What you will be doing:
In this role, you will provide a high quality of service to customer mortgage accounts from initial completion through to redemption, ensuring outstanding customer service throughout the journey. You must be able to work independently with mínimal guidance and support less experienced team members. The work includes assisting with mortgage administration enquires from customers, solicitors, intermediaries and internal referrals, including those from OSBIndia. In this blended and varied role, you will have the opportunity to utilise a variety of skills and gain valuable experience professionally and personally.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Excellent communication when dealing with telephony queries, and ensuring the customer journey is considered in all telephony interactions.
- Assess allocated workload within assigned mandate level and within agreed service levels and lending policy. Request further information where required and verify this upon receipt in order to make the final decision.
- Learn and develop underwriting assessment skills, through training and coaching with a view to obtaining or increasing own personal mandate levels
- Interpret customer issues and analyse existing policies and procedures to determine a suitable resolution, ensuring the bank’s risk position is protected at all times
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when processing documents, ensuring productivity targets are achieved in conjunction with quality targets.

- Previous experience of working within a regulated mortgage environment is essential
- Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential
- Previous experience of working within mortgage servicing environment, working on own initiative to organise workloads and meeting service deadlines is essential
- Intermediate level of understanding of Microsoft Excel

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
