You will be required to deliver clinical skills and resuscitation training to a wide range of professional staff at all levels of seniority.

You will teach and support colleagues of all grades and disciplines and lead on new initiatives.

You will facilitate large and small groups and deliver training in innovative ways.

You may be from a nursing, ODP or AHP background.

To provide ongoing support to the Trust and Royal Primary Care, to ensure that the resuscitation training needs of all staff are met, according to their grade and role in line, with Resuscitation Council (UK) and Skills for Health Standards.

To develop, implement, supervise and provide specialist advice in the training of all staff in basic, intermediate and advanced life support as appropriate.

To develop, facilitate and implement a multi-professional strategy for clinical skills training for all clinical staff within the Trust and Royal Primary Care.

To facilitate and deliver recognised Clinical Skills and Simulation based courses, for all disciplines within the Trust and assist in the development of in-situ simulation training.

To provide competent advice on issues linked to resuscitation & clinical skills.

To be a competent, supportive member of the medical emergency team, taking the lead if required.

To provide support to the clinical skills element of the medical student’s clinical placements.

To support audit of resuscitation equipment, medical emergency team calls /cardiac arrest and ReSPECT completion.

To support the Clinical Education and Training Matron in the development, delivery and evaluation of all programmes in order to meet service priorities and quality standards.

You will have a passion for acute care, resuscitation and education and the desire to work within an enthusiastic, dynamic team wanting to develop and support colleagues to deliver excellent patient care.

Clinical Education is vital to recruit, train, retain and retrain our excellent clinical staff and students to ensure we have a safe, effective and resilient clinical workforce for now and into the future.

You will be required to deliver clinical skills and resuscitation training to a wide range of professional staff at all levels of seniority.
