**Job Title: Production Supervisor**

**Base: Wellingborough**

**Responsible to: Production Manager**

**Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off rotation days/night shift pattern - 5.45am-6pm/5.45pm-6am**

We work with window fabricators and installers, as well as waste companies throughout the UK to ensure that valuable uPVC material is not lost to landfill.

We use our innovative recycling process to close the loop on uPVC recycling. This means that old windows and doors can be recycled and extruded into new windows and doors that boast the same standard of quality as the ones previous.

**Main Purpose**:

- Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through leadership of the shift team
- Optimise production performance through supervision and co-ordination of the shift team to ensure that production targets are achieved in accordance to standard operating procedures
- Support the Production Manager and Maintenance Manager with regular communication and clear handovers to ensure continuous improvement and continuity between shifts

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the production shift with clear priorities around health & safety performance and quality.
- Develop the shift team using one 2 ones and team talks to recruit, onboard, train, manage absence, plan resource and drive operatives to achieve KPI’s
- Develop an environment for continuous improvement throughout the shift, reporting progress and track improvements.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely, with maximum efficiency, to the highest quality supported by quality and maintenance department scheduling
- Maintain stock records, locations and publish Kanban records for production consumables.
- Support initiatives to ensure mínimal waste and improve housekeeping during production
- Ensure team adhere to SOPs, minimise variability and Seek out SOP improvements.
- Maintain required staffing levels, by maintaining holiday and training records.

**Person Specification**

**Essential**: FLT Licence - counterbalance, Train the Trainer (desirable), 360 Crane - (desirable), Telehander (desirable)

**Required Knowledge**: Production Operative background - 2-3 years.

Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime and re-work.

Strong computer skills with advance proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
