Sales Administrator to join a well-established independent business based just outside York.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and sociable sales team with an outstanding benefits package, excellent starting salary of £24,000, regular incentives and a bonus scheme.

You will be part of a rapidly growing and successful Sales department, supporting account managers with all aspects of selling to new and existing customers, including contacting suppliers, creating quotes and chasing orders to meet delivery deadlines.

We’re looking for a confident and organised administrator with excellent communication skills and experience within an office environment. Due to the location you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.

As a Sales Administrator you will be responsible for:

- Making supplier calls to obtain prices and sourcing parts
- Sending quotes to customers
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Chasing orders from suppliers to ensure that we meet delivery targets for customers
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments
- Answer and transfer incoming telephone calls

This will be working Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm and an early finish on a Friday working 8.15am - 4pm.
