Lancashire Highways Service is responsible for the direct delivery of all highways related schemes across the County made up of 4'300 miles of road, 151'000 streetlights and 2'955 bridges.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Support Officer, this post will be based in our Cuerden Offices at Bamber Bridge with the Highway Safety Inspection Team.
The post holder will be required to manage and process highway claims including damage to vehicles, personal injury, flooding, and damage to property claims delivered form our legal services team. The role involves providing technical responses and reporting as required demonstrating exceptional customer focus skills, providing information regarding the relevant LCC policies and procedures, be familiar with standard office and mapping software, assist with day-to-day duties in the office, quality data processing and to assist the Team Leader and Senior Inspector with other duties which are deemed appropriate to the post.
