This is a fantastic opportunity for Accounts Assistants looking for part time work in the Wakefield area. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, the role requires that you are able to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department for anexpanding business within the tech industry.
*Purchase Ledger roles - Making sure costs are correct when compared against the purchase order and sales order books
*Supplier Statements
*Bank reconciliations
*Sales ledger - Monthly import from the billing platform
*Debt collection/credit control
*Maintaining spreadsheets relating to sales.
*Journals / analysis work when required
*Intercompany recharges
*Prior experience using Sage 50 (preferred not essential)
*Key communication skills across the finance department
*Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload both personally and across the department
*Help strategise ways to improve and/or streamline the efficiency of the finance department.
