Based in the Wakefield area, the business have experienced a lot of change and development over recent years and are looking to improve their current processes, so it's a great time to join them whilst they have plenty of new projects on the go.

They are looking for someone to develop, so whilst experience of accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations is a must, experience beyond this can be taught. As there is so much progression on offer, this would suit someone who is eager to learn, keen to further their career and has a real passion for finance, as you will be working with like-minded and hard-working individuals

An example of some of the duties that the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

  • Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Producing accruals, prepayments and journals.
  • Reconciling bank statements and identifying and logging fixed assets.
  • Maintaining the cash book and processing and payments necessary.
  • Supporting the Management Accountant and Finance Manager with the audit process.
  • Providing cover and support to the transactional finance team when required.
