An opportunity has arisen due to maternity leave for a permanent, full-time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Wakefield.

**The Role in Brief** As an Accounts Assistant you will:

- have responsibility for posting cash and bank reconciliations
- be responsible for the weekly and monthly sales invoicing
- assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- be responsible for weekly reporting on key operational metrics
- be responsible for reporting of the Group cash position to the Director team

**Essential Skills**:

- To excel as an Accounts Assistant, you must have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work closely with non-financial colleagues, senior management, and directors.
- You will be keen to learn and take on new responsibilities.

**Desirable Skills**:

- You would ideally have some experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume of transactions.
- You should have a team mentality and be willing to help out colleagues.
