**Battles** have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an experienced individual under the role of HR Officer. Working closely with your line manager, you would:

- Be the first point of contact for HR related enquiries - both internally and externally.
- Provide a comprehensive HR service to the firm's employees ranging from Directors to shop floor employees.
- Ensure adherence to employment law and advising line managers on company policies and procedures.
- Manage all aspects of HR administration including the new starter and leaver process in accordance with the requirements of the business and in line with data protection and employment legislation. This would be inclusive of creation of contracts of employments and processing of pre-employment checks. This is closely linked with providing payroll information on all new starts to the Payroll Administrator.
- Provide all new starters with Welcome packs prior to their start date and deliver their induction and onboarding.
- Monitor and update policies to ensure all changes to Laws and regulations are adhered too.
- Be handling employee relations matters including, but not limited to disciplinary investigations, grievance investigations, absence and performance management. Note taking for formal meetings required by Managers within the business.
- Generating change of terms letters and documentation relating to flexible working request, changes to hours, etc.
- Assisting the business become paper free with moving over to online recording of employee/HR information.
- Involved with other aspects of the business on a daily basis, including Health & Safety where appropriate.
- Organise and highlight and areas of the business that additional training is needed.
- Monitor and manage an Absences including LTS and sickness.
