A vacancy has arisen for a new post within the ‘governance team’ in the **Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.**

The role will be varied with a focus on using police performance reporting to support the Police and Crime Commissioner in holding the Constabulary to account, as well as looking more broadly at risk management, police complaints and themes from correspondence.

You will need to be comfortable interpreting information and translating it into reports and briefings and liaising with senior police colleagues; so excellent communication skills are a must.

An existing knowledge of policing and/or criminal justice system would enable you to hit the ground running.
- You will be part of a small and friendly team that works hard to support the Police and Crime Commissioner to carry out their statutory duties working alongside but separate to the Constabulary.
- You can split your week between home and the office, currently at Police Headquarters in Huntingdon, for a better work/life balance. Although may need to travel around the county and elsewhere for meetings as required.
- You will have a chance to support policing in the background contributing to cutting crime and keeping people safe.

The role is full time (37 hours).
