**ABOUT THIS ROLE**
- The Access and Engagement Officer is vital to the success of our business. The postholder plays a pivotal role in successfully creating and implementing an innovative education outreach programme which compliments and enhances the New Theatre’s artistic programme
- As the Access and Engagement Officer, the postholder is responsible for:

- Manage the Supported Performance programme, which includes BSL interpreted, Audio Described, Captioned and Relaxed performance.
- Enhance relationships with social and professional groups and bodies in South Wales to develop deeper engagement with our programme.
- Act as an ambassador for the New Theatre at relevant external events
- You will be a member of the venue Safeguarding Team.
- Occasion travel and overnight stays for meetings and conferences

**ABOUT YOU**
- A professional with significant experience in the theatre, music or live-entertainment space, you’ll be a self-motivated, engaging and dynamic leader.
- Commercially savvy, enthusiastic, and capable of influencing others (including senior members of the TE team and third-party producer clients) you’ll be energetic, proactive, results-focussed and creative in your approach.
- You’ll be resilient, able to communicate clearly and excellent at forming working relationships with others.
