We're looking for a full-time Digital Engagement Officer to maintain and develop Victim Support’s social media channels and websites. The post will be home-based (England or Wales) and is part of our digital team.

If the successful applicant is home working, attendance at our London and Cardiff offices may sometimes be required for meetings.

**About the role**

You’ll maintain and develop Victim Support’s social media channels as well as help maintain our website alongside our digital team. The role will be home-based (England or Wales), but attendance at our Cardiff and London offices may sometimes be required for meetings.

As Digital Engagement Officer your day-to-day activities will include:

- planning and scheduling digital content for our national social media channels
- developing digital content specifically for social media, including working closely with our in-house multimedia designer to develop videos, animations and graphics.
- working with colleagues across Victim Support to support initiatives and campaigns across England and Wales.
- helping to update local service information on the Victim Support website.
- providing digital communications expertise, advice and support for our local teams.
- reporting on social media activity and making recommendations to improve engagement and reach.

This role sits within Communications and Governance, reporting to the Head of Digital.

You’ll need:

- experience of creating engaging content for social media channels.
- experience of analysing and reporting on social media trends and activities.
- a good standard of written English, as you’ll be writing content for digital platforms.
- a commitment to equality and diversity, which we’d expect to see reflected in the digital content you’ll create.
