**Human Resources Business Partner 12 Month FTC**:

- **Salary**:Up to £40,000 depending on experience

**Who will you be working for**:
Agility is delighted to be working with a well-respected client in the Lancaster/Kendal area. They are refurbishing their HR function and due to the current HR Manager going on maternity, they are looking for a talented HR professional who can lead the day to day running of the HR function and offer specialist advice to their staff across a range of areas.

**What will you be doing**:

- Reporting to the HR Director you will be responsible for overseeing all casework and investigations within the company, using your influencing skills to create the best outcome for staff and your company
- Supporting the implementation of a new IT system and shaping how it will be utilised by the HR team and your colleagues at all levels
- Liaising with managers to offer guidance and coaching across all employee relations matters such as absenteeism and recruitment, empowering managers to action processes and approach staff in their own style
- Utilising your HR knowledge to craft new policies and implement updated procedures to boost employee engagement and improve the employee experience
- Collaborating with the senior HR team to create and champion business values in the People strategy
- Taking the lead on any Project work required as part of the massive improvements to the HR function
- Ad hoc administration tasks with support from the administration assistant

**What will you need for this role...**
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable but those with relevant experience will be considered
- Generalist HR experience across the full HR spectrum, as well as a practical understanding of HR policy, employment law and People strategy principles
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with an approachable nature as you will be trusted with handling very sensitive conversations with staff with tact
- At least 3 years experience in an advisory capacity, a track record of coaching managers and boosting their understanding of HR is very desirable for this role
- Experience of project management and a passion for enacting great HR and showing the potential benefits it can create for your staff

**Experience**:

- Human resources advisory: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience (preferred)
