This role plays a pivotal part in leading activity in the Service that aims to deliver progressive and meaningful change in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). This role works collaboratively with varied stakeholders across the Service including Senior Management, in delivering on their EDI commitments in their directorate areas. It has oversight of the EDI activity across the Service and is a central point of contact to support initiatives and create alignment with Service Strategies and Business plans.

This relevant and integral role helps promote and facilitate achievement of an inclusive workplace, assisting in achieving a workforce that is representative of the community we serve.

Although this role is based at our HQ in Lewes, discussion into hybrid and flexible working is welcomed.
