**We are recruiting Breakfast Club Assistants at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**:5 hours per week. That’s 1 hour daily, Monday to Friday during term time only (38 weeks a year).
**Contract Type**:Permanent/Part Time
**Location**: Machen Primary School, Cwrt Rawlin Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Catering Team.

Caerphilly County Borough Council has an opportunity for Breakfast Club Assistants at the following schools;
**Machen Primary School and**

**Cwrt Rawlin Primary School (1-1)**

This important service ensures the provision of a healthy, nutritious breakfast in a familiar and safe environment for young minds to get the best out of their school day.

You will work alongside colleagues who are committed to giving all children the support and care they need to be happy and to achieve.

A Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene in Catering would be ideal but not essential as full training on food safety awareness alongside other relevant courses will be provided.

For the role, we ask that you have:

- Understands the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently. Appreciates the need to support and respect equalities principles. Able to confidently answer questions on area of responsibility. Understands the impact of own work on others.
- Ability to work precisely and effectively under pressure and to deadlines and have a strong sense of purpose.
- Ability to empathise with the needs of the client and understand and respect issues of confidentiality.
