**We are recruiting a Breakfast Club Supervisor at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**: 5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 1 hour per day)
**Contract Type**:Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only
**Location**: Cwrt Rawlin Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Catering Services.

**We pay an attractive salary of £12 per hour - Real Living Wage and offer access to training and development opportunities. Caerphilly County Borough Council is committed to paying the real Living Wage. The advertised salary for this post therefore includes a pay supplement.**

This important service ensures the provision of a healthy, nutritious breakfast in a familiar and safe environment for young minds to get the best out of their school day. Collaborating with colleagues and the Breakfast Club Pupil Supervisor to support and guide children, you will also supervise others in the workplace ensuring our award-winning catering service staff are adhering to guidelines set out to guarantee high performance standards.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- A Food Safety Awareness, Emergency First Aid and CCBC Child Protection qualification/training or the ability and willingness to complete these within 3-months of appointment.
- An understanding of the role in-order to perform duties effectively and efficiently, recognising the impact of your own work on others.
- Ability to exercise good judgement when dealing with issues that are of a sensitive nature.
