Breakfast Club Supervisor

**We are recruiting a Breakfast Club Supervisor at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**: 5 hours per week. That’s 1 hour daily, Monday to Friday during term time only (38 weeks a year).
**Contract Type**:Permanent/Part Time
**Location**: Cwrt Rawlin Primary School, Caerphilly

This important service ensures the provision of a healthy, nutritious breakfast in a familiar and safe environment for young minds to get the best out of their school day. Collaborating with colleagues and the Breakfast Club Pupil Supervisor to support and guide children, you will also supervise others in the workplace ensuring our award-winning catering service staff are adhering to guidelines set out to guarantee high performance standards.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- Level-2 Food Safety Awareness or the ability to complete or working towards the qualification within 3 months of appointment.
- Experience of Manual Handling, Customer Care and the Safeguarding of Children.
- An understanding of the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to exercise good judgement when dealing with issues that are of a sensitive nature.
