**We are recruiting 2 Breakfast Club Assistants at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**:5 hours per week, 1 hour daily, Monday to Friday during term time only (38 weeks a year).
**Contract Type**:Permanent/Part Time
**Location**: Philipstown Primary School, Machen Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Catering Team.

**We pay an attractive salary of £12 per hour, Real Living wage and offer access to training and development opportunities.**

This important service ensures the provision of a healthy, nutritious breakfast in a familiar and safe environment for young minds to get the best out of their school day.

You will work alongside colleagues who are committed to giving all children the support and care they need to be happy and to achieve.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- An understanding of the role in order to perform duties effectively and efficiently and an appreciation of the need to support and respect equalities principles. Also an ability to confidently answer questions on area of responsibility.
- An understanding of the impact of own work on others.
- An ability to communicate effectively and work with the minimum of supervision.
- Ability to exercise good judgement when dealing with issues that are of a sensitive nature.
