**The Role**:
As a Technical Support Agent, you will play a crucial role in our customer success department by providing exceptional technical assistance to ecommerce clients. You will primarily work with the native functionality of the platform leveraging your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and JavaScript/CSS problems. Your strong communication skills and technical knowledge will contribute to the satisfaction and success of our clients by providing exceptional technical assistance.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to SME clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform's native functionality.
- Utilise your expertise in JavaScript and CSS to address and solve custom code challenges faced by clients.
- Reduce escalations by collaborating with Technical Engineers to understand, diagnose, and resolve issues related to custom code implementations
- Support SME clients through live chat, ticket and telephone, offering real-time assistance and ensuring a seamless support experience.
- Adapt communication style to effectively address technical concerns across various channels.
- Work diligently to meet and exceed service level agreements, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for clients.
- Prioritise and manage support tickets to meet SLAs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for client retention, whilst proactively engaging with clients to address concerns, and highlight the value of the platform to reduce churn.
- Follow established processes for technical support, issue resolution and cancellations.
- Contribute to the refinement of support processes based on insights gathered from client interactions.
- Create and update technical documentation to assist clients in resolving common issues independently.
- Contribute to the knowledge base to facilitate efficient issue resolution and enhance client self-help resources.
**Skills**
- Strong technical knowledge of Shopblocks product and native functionalities.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS to address coding-related problems and provide solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proactive approach to understanding and addressing client needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation for both internal and client use.
- Independent time management and workload prioritisation
