**_ A fantastic opportunity to join an established, national engineering contractor as an Administrator providing business support to the regional support functions and operational works delivery teams. The role provides varied duties and responsibilities and as an established contractor offers longevity through secured contracts and projects with key clients._**

**The Role**

We require an enthusiastic Administrator with experience of carrying out receptionist duties based in our Scotland region from the office in Cumbernauld. Your duties and responsibilities will be varied on a day to day basis and would include but not be limited to tasks including:

- Maintain routine records relating to items processed, files documents and keeps filing systems up to date such that information can be readily retrieved.
- Plan own work to meet priorities and delivers to pre agreed deadlines.
- Assisting and collating timesheets for Scotland office-based staff.
- Assist with travel bookings via online booking tool for Scotland staff.
- Filing of project information as required, including uploading electronically.
- Perform general internal administrative duties, including filing, copying drawings, general photocopying, mail etc.
- Assist with ordering of PPE (personal protective equipment) items as required & sundries items.
- Provide inputs into client and company reports as required.
- Support and take part in company / industry initiatives as required.
- Support wider support teams as required.
- Maintain electronic diary system (Outlook) and have intermediate level of Excel/Outlook.
- Assist with visiting other sites/depots/meetings on an ad hoc basis, therefore must be able to drive.
- Assist with working alongside Receptionist to ensure coverage of reception duties daily for lunch/annual leave.
- Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in an Administrative role (construction or civil engineering experience may be beneficial)
- Experienced Receptionist
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload and work autonomously
- IT literate with a working knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages including Excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Full UK driving license (essential) and willingness to include business mileage on their car insurance due (business mileage reimbursable).
- Intermediate level excel skills along with strong knowledge of outlook/Word/PowerPoint required.
