Our long standing client based on the out skirts of Lancaster, is currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join their highly successful team, on a full time and permanent basis.

Our client is a well established company who provide specialist products and services to their client. They offer a great working environment and career longevity and offer a flexi time scheme.

The purpose of the role is to provide strong administrative support to the wider team and to monitor the daily UK sales and export processes ensuring everything is followed correctly.

The role will involve:

- Updating the quotes database and keeping records updated regarding progress with on going proposals.
- Submitting pre-qualification documents to customers
- Processing quotes. This will involve detailed pricing and calculations
- Processing customer orders
- Handling customer complaints
- Liaising with other departments, sales and credit control to ensuring customer are updated with delivery and lead times and ensuring customer accounts are in order.
- Administration duties
- Previous experience of working in a busy customer service/commercial/sales environment
- Strong computer knowledge (e.g. Microsoft office)
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with overseas customers and employees in a professional manner at all times
- A strong and flexible team player is essential.
- Must be well organised and a self-starter with good time management skills
- Ability to work independently and ale to co-operate with all members of the internal teams in a very fast paced environment

Our client is offering an attractive salary of £25k along with 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension scheme and a fantastic and collaborative working environment too.

Use of your own transport is required due to the location of this role.
