A very rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Buckinghamshire Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at Amersham Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker supporting the Occupational Therapy team and other neurology multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapy, Speech and Language therapy and Psychology.

The post will suit an independent, motivated, hard working and enthusiastic person, who wishes to work as part of the dynamic, personalised care therapy team.

You will undertake therapy treatments and interventions on the Neurology Rehabilitation unit and sometimes in a patient’s own home as identified by the Therapists to progress towards discharge home or to an alternative residence.

Previous experience of working in Therapy and having treated patients within a hospital or community environment with neurological conditions is necessary.

The Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams work a seven day therapy service and work at weekends.

This post is not suitable for qualified Therapists.
