**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
You will directly support our people through their Kainos career and confirm for them that working for Kainos is the best decision they have ever made. And to you, that is not work - that is impact.

You will be delivering a step change in the Kainos employee experience. You will do this by guiding our people through the employee lifecycle. And this will be achieved by working in partnership with the recruitment, HR business partners, payroll and communications teams to build a seamless service for Kainos employees.

We’ll need you to bring you’re ‘A’ game - demonstrating accuracy, creativity, flexibility, communications and stakeholder management experience that will help nurture a healthy workplace for Kainos employees at all levels.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Providing advice and guidance a range of HR issues, including performance management, grievances, probation reviews, sickness absence. Manage an ER case load, while working within SLA’s
- Our ER work is important so you will support managers in case work, assisting with the preparation of cases, supporting with note taking and advising on outcomes, gaining valuable experience.
- Coaching people managers through ER cases. Providing them with guidance in line with the company policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment to ensure a consistent and fair approach is adopted
- Champion of our employee cyclical processes: You will have end to end ownership of one or two of the following - Performance Management, Promotions, Annual Salary Review
- Support the review, implementation, and management of company benefits
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues and communicate HR best practice.
- Make sure Kainos is operationally compliant in the countries in which we operate by interpreting, implementing and managing employment policy and process.
- Monitoring and managing absence for the business
- Grab development opportunities by collaborating on some of our transformation projects to make sure we are always improving and representing Kainos’ best self in the workplace
- Think creatively and work with the teams to provide valuable insight, help identify trends and accurate reporting that helps the business make informed decisions.
- Contribute to making the People Operations team run smoothly by rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in.

**MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL SKILLS) REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 2-years' experience in a relevant working environment with an approachable, mature, collaborative style in a customer facing environment CIPD Level 5 (HRM) qualified or working towards
- Approachable, diplomatic and a good mediator
- Sound generalist knowledge of people management techniques. Excellent knowledge of HR policies, best practice and up to date employment legislation and approaches to help drive behavioural change.
- Ability to carry out responsibilities totally aligned to company policies, procedures and processes.
- A self-starter who can work on their own initiatives with mínimal supervision
- Effective personal time management and planning skills to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in tight timeframes/targets.
- Ability to work efficiently, make sensible decisions under pressure and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Office 365 Suite or equivalent

**DESIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined team
- Ability to identify and communicate areas for improvement within the team and business
- Experience with JIRA, Microsoft teams, SharePoint or Workday
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
