St Austell, United Kingdom Walkers Restaurants Ltd Full time

We are now looking for a permanent Server/Fryer to join the team in St. Austell Walkers Fish Restaurant & Takeaway.

**Hours**: Hours are worked between Monday - Sunday 10:00 - 22:30

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Providing customers with excellent customer service and promote a warm, friendly atmosphere.
- Assisting in the preparation and serving of food, ensuring a clean and hygienic Restaurant at all times.
- Processing orders using the till system, taking cash and card payments.
- Maintaining outstanding levels of Food Hygiene, whilst ensuring excellent presentation at all times.
- Deputising in the absence of the Supervisor, being the designated key holder assuming responsibility for opening and closing the Restaurant.
- Maintaining a positive company image and reputation with excellent customer service maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment.
- To supervise, train and instruct catering assistants.
- Ensure implementation of company policy at all times.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering or equivalent (desirable).
- Previous Frying experience (1 year minimum)
- Practical experience of supervision in a busy catering environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good oral/ written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- A flexible approach.
- Good customer service skills.
- Cash and card handling experience.
- Health & Safety at Work (Basic) (training provided).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
