**Maintenance Assistant**

We are looking for a happy, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to work as a Maintenance Assistant on our busy holiday park Meadow Lakes, near St Austell. This is a permanent position in which you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. Days and hours of work will vary depending on the rota but will include some weekends and some late shifts (12.00pm-8.00pm during peak weeks only). You will assist in maintaining the upkeep of the park during the season and must be willing to help out in any task given to you.

Duties will be variable but will mainly include the following:

- Maintenance checks and repairs to accommodations on changeover days
- Hot tub and swimming pool checks
- Basic plumbing and electrical tasks
- General maintenance and upkeep of grounds

Full training will be given, however experience in the following will be an advantage:

- Experience in caravan maintenance
- Hot tub and swimming pool maintenance
- Basic plumbing and electrical skills/experience **or** relevant qualifications
- Experience in domestic repairs and maintenance
- Experience in Grounds Maintenance, to include strimming, mowing and fencing

We are looking for a hard-working, proactive individual, with a high level of cleanliness and an outgoing, friendly and helpful attitude to join our team. Good communication and people skills particularly with our customers will be essential.

Full UK driving licence will be required for this position

Start date for this post will be immediate

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour depending on experience
