Office Assistant

Lloyd & Jones are a looking for an office assistant for their abrasive manufacturing site in Chorley.
The site produces Abrasive Belts of various sizes under the SAL Abrasive brand. Working with a small close-knit team you will assist in the smooth operation by undertaking general tasks within the branch.
These tasks will be varied and cover all aspects of the operation from answering incoming calls to data entry, filing, as well as picking and packing stock.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will undertake tasks as directed to support the business.
You will be a presentable, reliable, organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and be capable of working quickly, accurately and safely to tight deadlines.
Previous experience is not essential but a good level of computer literacy is required, full training will be given on our systems.
Energy, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a ‘can-do’ attitude are most important aspects we are looking for.
Positive performance will allow progression within the business.
Hours will be confirmed at interview and salary will be competitive.
**Salary**: £11.45 per hour
