A top international law firm are looking for a Compliance Paralegal to join their Risk & Compliance team.
**The team**:
The firm’s Risk and Compliance department manages all aspects of the regulation surrounding the running of the firm. The team works in collaboration with the business to monitor and implement the firm’s risk and AML procedures.
**The role**:
The successful Compliance Paralegal can look forward to working directly with fee earners and there is an opportunity for progression. Typical duties will include:

- Carrying out client due diligence on clients
- Reviewing risk assessments
- Performing sanctions screening
- Answering queries from clients, partners and fee earners
- Researching and assisting with conflict checks and searches
- Assisting with AML documentation
- Conducting AML searches
- Keeping up to date on all changes to SRA and AML regulations

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a Risk and Compliance department within a law firm
- Good knowledge of SRA and AML regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
