Paralegal and Compliance Assistant

Aramark UK is seeking a skilled Paralegal and Compliance Assistant to join its UK legal team, supporting the UK Onshore & Offshore business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and assist with know-how and presentations
  • Maintain statutory books, registers, and submit annual compliance statements and Companies House filings
  • Handle statutory accounts filings, prepare board resolutions, and provide company information to auditors and the business
  • Liaise with international external counsel on AGMs, director appointments, and regulatory requirements
  • Compile and maintain the UK Onshore & Offshore Risk Register
  • Review and manage processes for music and alcohol licenses, working closely with business units
  • Monitor new legislation, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting the business
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with the Risk Register
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a commercial/compliance paralegal or in company secretarial work
  • Law degree (2:1 or above) or completion of the LPC
  • Hands-on experience with commercial contracts
  • Strong legal analysis skills
  • Familiarity with legal document management software
  • Experience in a multinational environment would be a real bonus but isn't essential
