Paralegal & Compliance Role at Aramark UK

Aramark UK is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal & Compliance Specialist to join its UK legal team, supporting the UK Onshore & Offshore business. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a tight-knit in-house team where you'll gain exposure to diverse paralegal and compliance work in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and assist with know-how and presentations
  • Maintain statutory books, registers and submit annual compliance statements and Companies House filings
  • Handle statutory accounts filings, prepare board resolutions and provide company information to auditors and the business
  • Liaise with international external counsel on AGMs, director appointments and regulatory requirements
  • Compile and maintain the UK Onshore & Offshore Risk Register
  • Review and manage processes for music and alcohol licenses, working closely with business units
  • Monitor new legislation, regulatory changes and emerging risks affecting the business
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with the Risk Register
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a commercial/compliance paralegal or in company secretarial work
  • ~ Law degree (2:1 or above) or completion of the LPC
  • ~ Hands-on experience with commercial contracts
  • ~ Strong legal analysis skills
  • ~ Familiarity with legal document management software
  • ~ Experience in a multinational environment would be a real bonus but isn't essential
