Severn Park Fire & Rescue Training Centre opened its doors to its first students on the 1st April 2003 and is run in conjunction with our three training partners Avon, Devon and Somerset and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Services. This purpose built training centre offers an enhanced training experience for both Fire Service personnel and the commercial sector.

**The role**
- As a Lead Supervisor you will support the TCM and Team Leaders with the co-ordinated resource including 4 team members, to provide for the Annual Training Plan including, scenario preparation and break down and relevant IT in a safe environment. Whilst undertaking duties associated to ensure efficient and effective associated training resources are available and suitable in line with safe working systems
- Day to day, you’ll undertake duties associated with implementing, enforcing and policing safe working systems, for the control of site activities- Ensure with others all aspects associated with establishing legislative and operational compliance for HS&E, Quality and Information Assurance, developing processes and procedures to implement and maintain SOP’s and Risk Assessments
- Quality product available in a timely, safe and clean condition at all times
- Promotions of quality, health, safety and environmental practices, ensuring standards are met
- Responsible for ensuring IT issues on site are managed/reviewed and recorded in liaison with Babcock IT
- Provision of assistance to site in driving of vehicles as required
- As the Centre operates 24/7 there are occasions when the role will be expected to undertake duties at weekends/evenings

**Essential experience of the Lead Supervisor**:

- Electrical Qualifications
- desirable
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures
- Previous team leading/ supervisory experience
- Knowledge of building maintenance
- PPM, management of contractors, facilities maintenance

This role is full - time based on site Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm with occassional weekend covers.
