- We are looking to recruit an Organisational Learning Specialist to join the safety team at Rolls-Royce Submarines. You will be responsible for ensuring that organisational learning and continuous improvement processes are delivered at the location, in accordance with all license conditions, regulating bodies, company business strategies and industry best practices. You will support the Submarines’ Core Production business unit by ensuring events and near misses are reported, effectively assessed, actioned where required and any learning communicated.

- What you will be doing:

- You will support stakeholders in improving organisational learning across core manufacturing and ensure Licence Condition (LC) 7 compliance is maintained.
- Interact with the HSE Management Information System (MIS) to ensure visibility of observations and incidents and any associated actions.
- Ensure incidents are effectively investigated by leading the investigation or supporting others to complete them and develop or advise on action plans with appropriate oversight.
- Ensure core manufacturing and the wider organisation understands and learns from events and trends.

- You need to be able to ask clear probing questions, clarify details of incidents and near misses, challenge assumptions and ineffective action plans, and speak up if performance falls short of the required standard.
- Computer skills.
- Motivated and flexible.
- You need to be able to use your own initiative and judgement (within the scope of the role), identify and implement improvements, and respond to incidents and observations as they occur
- Experience working within the Nuclear Industry is essential.
