**Job Summary and Main Purpose**

The new role within the department will implement, manage and review the further education and higher education provision across the hub sites. Ensure quality assurance and highest levels of provision and teaching are being adhered to.

**Key Responsibilities**

Teach high quality lessons/lectures across further education and higher education delivery within the required and allocated guided learning hours.

Course design and implementation - seek, suggest, plan and implement new areas of educational development.

Standardise and moderate quality of delivery across all programmes in line with QA process from examination boards and funding partners.

Lead Verification and standardisation of assessments and marking across all courses.

Oversee functional skills provision programmes.

Facilitate timetabling needs in conjunction with teachers, mentors and enrichment staff.

Promote and monitor the extended curriculum offerings.

Maintain and update course records, files and programme data.

Monitor and control budget development for additional teaching and learning resources.

Facilitate team and performance reviews for teachers, lecturers, mentors and teaching assistants.

Produce KPI for staff within the teaching and learning faculty.

Plan, support and develop staff training and CPD needs.

Coordinate lesson observations and scheduled support.

Oversee, track and monitor learner attendance, behaviour and levels of progress.

Communicate with all key stakeholders (parents/guardians/staff etc)

Support staff with behaviour policy implementation and attend all final warning parent/learner meetings.

Attend review meetings with funding providers, leadership team within education and employability, any relevant meeting which directly involves quality of provision.

Ensure all data is accurate on learners and distributed to the correct education funding partner according to their requirements.

Share and celebrate success of learners and Alumini.

Organise and facilitate graduation events in conjunction with the teaching staff.

**General Responsibilities (applicable to all roles)**
- Ensuring continuous compliance with the requirements of relevant Health & Safety and Data Protection legislation. - Demonstrating the impact of DCCT programmes is a key performance indicator for the Trust. Capturing, recording, and analysing data is essential in supporting this. All staff are required to ensure they play their role where applicable.
- The assurance of quality is fundamental for all work undertaken by DCCT and should be implemented by all staff in their work. To that effect DCCT shall: Regularly monitor and measure the quality of its work methods, outputs and outcomes with a view to ensuring high quality standards, best value and continuous improvement.
