**About The Role**

We have a great opportunity for an Incident Administrator to join the Data Rights Team, you'll combine working from home with working in either the Guildford or Bristol office.

Your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of assigned Potential Personal Data Incidents (PPDI) from initial assessment through to resolution, engaging with functions across the business, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress.

Reporting to the Information Rights Manager you will be part of the Data Rights team providing an operational and supportive role to assigned business areas. You will be operating in an environment where training and learning are available and encouraged to give you a greater understanding of processes. Working closely with the Business Incident Coordination Team (BICT) and the Privacy Team this role assists in ensuring the highest levels of customer service when dealing with incidents from initial notification through to successful resolution.

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Effectively and efficiently coordinate and resolve PPDI requests- Identify incidents that should be escalated to the BICT team- Engage with functions across the business ensuring all stakeholders are informed of incident progress- Maintaining accurate and current records for incidents, ensuring systems are updated in a timely manner- Own documents and processes, reporting monthly PPDI numbers and commentary to the Information Rights Manager and the Privacy Team Manager- Build and maintain effective and positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers and colleagues- Take ownership for workflow and prioritisation decisions, reacting quickly and responding positively to changing needs, whilst ensuring regulatory and internal timescales are met- Assist in the training and support of colleagues- Ensure own regulatory compliance in relation to the industry, internal policies and procedures and personal obligations

**About You**

You'll be able to demonstrate an interest and basic understanding of incident coordination (ideally gained in a Financial Services or Information Services environment). You'll be process driven, used to working systematically, achieving key deadlines whilst delivering high quality customer service.

**Skills & Experience**- An understanding of incident coordination ideally gained from working in an incident management team or similar environment- Ability to problem solve and think practically and logically, following regulated policies and timescales- IT literacy is essential including proficiency in MS Office specifically Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel and ideally SharePoint- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak with colleagues at all levels across the business- Ability to prioritise workload and deal with changing demands- Ability and desire to work both autonomously and in a team environment
