We are currently seeking and Administrator/Receptionist who is looking for that next opportunity. This position would ideally suit someone who has worked within the public sector previously.

**Working week**:Monday - Friday
**Working hours**:Hours will be between 08:00 - 18:00
**Start date**:ASAP
**Location**:York (York Hospital)
**Pay rate**:£10.41 per hour
**Initially a 3 month assignment **(extension very likely)
You will need to have good communication skills both written and verbal and able to type at a moderate to fast rate. The role is supporting medical secretaries, so obtaining the correct and relevant information along with providing the same, is paramount. This role would suit someone who is adept with Microsoft Packages.
The position is based out of York Hospital with the potential to be home based after an initial period of training etc.
Main duties:

- Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls on behalf of GP’s etc.- Typing up letters to patients and other departments of the hospital- Using multiple computer systems to obtain all the relevant details/information- Work to individual goals and as a supporting team member, enable others to achieve the desired company goalsDue to the nature of the role and the volume of work, you will need to demonstrate resilience, patience and an ability to remain calm under pressure, a key eye for detail is key in this role.
Full training will be provided but previous experience within a support/writing capacity would be beneficial.
