**Role**:Marketing Projects Officer
**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000
**Location**: Southampton
The Marketing Projects Officer will be responsible for coordinating and executing various marketing projects and events to promote AVASK. This will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery while maintaining brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for marketing projects and events.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout project lifecycles.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral such as advertisements, brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing materials and channels.
- Work closely with creative teams, vendors, and external agencies to deliver high-quality campaign assets on time and within budget.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to align marketing projects with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related enquiries and updates, fostering positive working relationships across departments.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track and analyse the performance of marketing projects and campaigns, utilising relevant metrics and KPIs.
- Generate reports and presentations to summarise campaign results, identify key insights, and recommend optimisations for future initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies, improve targeting, and maximise ROI.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing and project management.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the marketing team.
- Share learnings and best practices with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
**Key skills, knowledge and experience**:
Essential
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in marketing project management or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and delivering marketing projects and events on time and within budget.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, interpret metrics, and derive actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign optimisations.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite) and SEO principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency in marketing materials, project documentation, and campaign execution.
- Proven ability to identify and address project risks, obstacles, and challenges in a proactive and timely manner.
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, timelines, and project requirements in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude while navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
Desirable
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g. PRINCE2) or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) would be advantageous.
